Holiday France Direct, the independent holiday homes specialist, has launched a wide range of French self catering properties in its new 2010 brochure. They can also be viewed at www.holidayfrancedirect.co.uk.

“To complement the new brochure, our website gives access to constantly updated special offers”

With nearly 1,000 rental properties on offer, Holiday France Direct caters for every budget and requirement. It has townhouses and apartments, mountain chalets, rural cottages, rustic farmhouses, gîtes, seaside villas and even elegant chateaux for rent.

Whether it’s for a quiet getaway for two, a big reunion, a family seaside holiday, or to pursue a particular sport or interest, Holiday France Direct has the ideal property. And there are some wonderful surprises – quirky fisherman’s cottages, a former cider press, medieval houses and even a converted tramway station.

Every property is privately owned and Holiday France Direct puts holidaymakers directly in touch with the owners. Liz Rodgers, General Manager of Holiday France Direct explained: “Our customers really appreciate being able to talk to the owners to find out about their properties and the local area, and to discuss their requirements. We find that there really is no better way to plan and make the most of your holiday”.

Holiday France Direct homes offer great value for money. When you book direct with the owner, there are no agents’ fees to pay and rents can be as low as £125 per week. In addition, holidays in France are still good value, with days out, food and drink cheaper than in the UK – especially since the recent cut in French VAT on eating out.

There’s also a 20% discount on ferry travel available through Holiday France Direct. Being a Brittany Ferries brand, it can offer 20% off vehicle and passenger fares on all Brittany Ferries’ services to France and Spain.
